There are just some things in life that are meant and made to go together; much like a blue and white woven belt made of braided leather and a worn-in pair of asymmetry vintage washed jeans -- kind of like the fashion and style world's equivalent in clothing to the world of food's peanut butter and jelly. So since we clotheshorses here at Strunway are all about the clothing equivalent (and not the PB & J), we thought we'd talk about something we like to (hopefully cleverly) call waist management. And yes, it has pretty much everything to do with the aforementioned jeans and the blue and white belt, too.
Because, fellas, can you really think of two pieces of clothing more meant and made to be than that of a woven belt and a pair of your most favorite jeans? And forgive us, please, for yet another food-related blog analogy -- but isn't the blue and white belt you pair with your jeans kind of like the fashion-y milk to your cookies? And what would you think if we were to add in another piece of clothing, most imperative, to that which we have deemed and nicknamed, waist management? For you're going to have to wear something on top of the pair; like our fashion pocket Henley tee -- to make your pairing of two, now a three.
And what if we were to think to get a bit more clothes crazy by adding in one more stylish accessory into the mix to make sure you're making a real big style statement, along with our initial and original one of waist management? Something like a pair of classic grey sneaks? Well, what do you think? Kind of like the cherry on top of your Strunway sundae. Or not. Man, there we go again with yet another food analogy/sentiment. It's just so easy when explaining to get a more visual sense of this post's waist management. But if you could excuse us, please, for we are suddenly craving some peanut butter and jelly ...
